With the voter-approved passing of LA County governance reform (Measure G) in 2024, the Haynes Foundation has a renewed commitment to strengthening local governance and democracy. We do so by supporting action-oriented research and collaboration that bring about positive reform in the way our region’s local governments and democracies serve communities and solve problems.
Reform is powered by research. For 100 years, the Haynes Foundation has worked to help make this research possible. We fund initiatives that promise meaningful impact for communities across the LA region.
